Rex Hotel-Belgrade was built in 1974. It has also been known under the name of the Turist Hotel. It was privatized in March 2003, and it has been known under the name of "Hotel Rex" since August 2003. Rex Hotel was partly renovated in 1998, and ever since March 2003 extensive reconstruction work and the adaptation of the entire hotel area have been taking place.
