La Orotava is famous for its traditional houses (casa balcones), Canarian food, artists, folk-music and fiestas (flower-carpets). It is an ideal starting-point for mountain-bikers, hiking- and climbing-tours, because the well known 'Canadas de Teide' are only 12 KM away, the Mount Teide itself you can reach by car or bus in less then one hour. All house-mates share an inside- and outside-kitchen with barbecue possibility,a dining-room with SAT-TV, three bathrooms, three terraces with a smoker's-pavillon, and a huge garden for camping (up to six tents) between fruit-trees and biological vegetables. Yoga- or Meditation-Retreats can be practiced on our huge roof-terrace. In the house itself we offer three single rooms and three double rooms.
