The location is perfect if you come in summer for swimming and surfing. Just 2 blocks away from the ocean beach. And it has free pick up from airport or trainbus station. That's really sweet.... But a downtown hostel maybe a good choice if you come in winter.

This place is great to chill out in a little beach town for a few days, the chill out area outside is great fun but the lock down time at 9:00 does get some getting used too but there's plenty gong on out to carry on. its quite a trip to town. the rooms get cleaned daily but are a bit cramped, and the staff are helpful, great hostel.

Good place. I had fun. I had friends. I went to beach everyday. Staff are very helpful. I miss OB. I wanna go back to see u. Dammn.

The location is definitely the best thing about this place, being 800 feet from the ocean. The staff is hit or miss, usually pretty clean, the rooms are too small, but you get a decent value for your money. Might try and find another place to stay next time.

I felt that the communal areas werent very warm, they were just park benches and had no real atmosphere. It would have been better with the communal area being warmer. Free food was good though.

Too much bleach used, when cleaning. Computers not very good. But overall great value.
Reception staff very good, especially Heidi!
