The staff is the strength here, plus the location. The buffet breakfast is also great, if a bit expensive. My only beef is that they allow smoking in the clubhouse, though that may change in time! A great place all in all - highly recommended.

Excellent location, near a metro stop and near the Shanghai museum. A bit difficult to find initially though.
I was a little disappointed with the social atmosphere, as it was a bit tough meeting other backpackers, but other than that a pretty solid hostel.

A good hostel, which seems to have had some bad reviews which i believe it does not deserve. The staff where really helpfull booking cheap transport and helping me with getting medication when i was ill. The place had many cleaning staff and was always clean. the one room beds where great for privacy and sleeping.

A very nice hostel... I recommend it to others... this week they fixed the heater so it is now warm and comfortable in the public areas.

Excellence location, quite place in the city of Shanghai, cheerful and helpful staff.
I will definately come back, btw, this was my 2nd times stayed in Etour.

Lovely hostel, clean and very friendly, helpful bar staff!! Communal area was great. Awesome location, i would stay there again.
