The staff was friendly and helpful. If you had a question and they did not know the answer they would find out for you. Well equipped kitchen. A little cold in the bathroom, but not too bad. Close to bus stops and other amenities. I would definitly stay again.

AMAZING! The sitting room with a roaring fire is a WONDERFUL touch. The rooms were very clean and nice, the beds were comfy, and the kicthen was fabulous!

Nice building, right in the middle of all the action in Kilkenny! The staff were great and the place is quite secure.

Only stayed one night and arrived late, but a good spot to bed down in a dorm.. some issues with toilet door latches not working but only minor stuff really :)

Good location (Kilkenny isn't very big anyway). Friendly staff, clean roomsbathrooms and well equipped kitchen. Lockers are only big enough for wallet, i-pod etc not big enough for your entire backpack which might bother some. Only gripe I had was that the kitchen and sitting room were both closed by 11pm so after that there isn't really anywhere communal to sit and talk. But, overall a great hostel with a nice cosy and homely feel.

Great old house with loads of character, up to date info on what to do in town + friendly staff. The nicest sitting room of any hostel Ive been to in Ireland.
