just loved it here everyone is friendly there is no click even with the longtermers who are very friendly and made me feel very welcome if im in melbourne again i will be booking in here.

NIce place, top locality. Only suggestion would be to remember to bring ear plugs if you are sleepy after a long flight. Of course I was there during the Ausy open so people were having fun.

This hostel is great, but it all depends on what you are looking for. It is not in central melbourne, it is in st. kilda which is a fun suburb with a great nightlife. The hostel is filled with young people who are living there and working. It is a good atmosphere but everyday is the same: cricket all afternoon followed by drinking and debauchery all night, everynight. Just giving you the facts.

Very too noisy with people talking all the night outdoor near the rooms...So if you want to sleep don't come here.Carpet in the room are very dirty....

The Hostel is actually pretty fun! At first I wasnt sure, but once I settled in after a day I could see its charm. All the staff that I encountered were friendly and helpful. There are a few different communal areas - kitchen, TV room, bbq area, picnic tables out front and the ping pong area in the back, so you can have your choice of atmosphere. nice and close to the beach and markets and shops.

Pretty good place to stay apart from the bricks holding the VERY squeeky and uncomfortable bed up and a particular female staff members voice which seemed to ring in my head very much annoy the crap outta me

the best hostel in australia. loved it. super chill and great people. no silly stuff or fluff there and very down to earth.

Really great atmosphere. Staff are really helpful. Location is great IF you're planning on spending time in St.Kilda. It's also very close to the tram to the city. Rooms seem to vary a lot - my bathroom was pretty dirty during my stay but my friends (in a different room) had a much cleanernicer one.
