The male dorms with only a fan were excessively hot, but the terrasse on the roof was really nice.

Jungle tour is amazing. The food is great and the guides are too. Don't worry about your bags Hostel Manaus kept mine safe.

Well located near the centre of the Manaus. There is an Amazon jungle tour operator located out the back providing good information for trips. A bit sleepy, but so is much of the town.

My roommate had her locks picked and her ipod stolen from a supposedly secure lock-up while we were on a 4 day expedition into the Amazon. According to staff this has happened at least 3 times before. The owner didnt seem to care. A hostel that offers trips away with secure storage should either be MORE secure or they should tell you honestly about the risks beforehand. A sign is not good enough when you know that you have a theft problem already.

We were a group of Ecuadorians in Manaus and just had a blast over there. The hostel was amazing and we met great people. We loved our experience, especially at breakfast time. Food was just delicious. Everything was neat and almost perfectly clean! We would gladly stay there again... and again... and again.
