The dorms were a bit small for 6 people with ski's and snowboards! The lockers weren't very useful..
The location was good; five minutes from 'downtown' area and busstop. You can eat at a cheap and good restaurant, located in the hostel, which is great! I also loved your lounge!
It's a good place to stay; nice and clean! I'd come back!

The hostel is near the shops and restaurants. Try and bring food with you if poss as the village shop is VERY expensive - $14 for a frozen pizza!
The hostel is very nice and clean, with free sauna and table football. There's also a big TV with plenty of videos to watch.
The lake is a 4km up hill hike, so a car might be better given as Moraine Lake is a further 11km away and well worth visiting. We managed to hitch hike there on recommendation from Banff tourism!

Sat in the dining room for 10 min this morning and no one came to the table to take order etc...Maybe breakfast was over, this was around 10:30am.

By far best hostel i have bben to. rooms are and clean with plenty of storage plus all have own toilet. all facilities (common room, kitchen, showers etc.) are clean and tidy. its quite a walk to the lake but its a nice one - very close to shops and info centre. p,lus there is a sauna on site (very nice)

Some places were very dusty and in our room 102 it was very loud because of a hooting pump.
Very good is the Peyto cafe with good food for a very welllow price
