We only stayed for 1 night, had a good time though. Great kitchen, they've got a nice dining room to eat in and a TV room as well. Hostel was very clean and well run. Staff were very friendly.

bed and bedding was clean the bed rooms were clean but some areas of the hostel were not so good and the place generally needs a lick of paint, the place does have character, but a fair few backpackers expect a bit of a higher standard in this day and age, it suited my needs but i think this is one of those places you will like or be dissapointed with the standard, staff helpful and friendly, if you on a tight budget it will do the job, but i dont think its to everyones taste.

hostel owner was nice. House was ok, though musty smell and in need of a paint job. (I suppose I am spoiled by the hotel-like hostels I've been staying in.) Mattress bag of springs. Positive side: bathrooms recently renovated and pretty clean. Kitchen fully equipped, tv room rather comfy and dining area and patio good potential to meet others.

From my personal point of view, this place is excellent for short-term stays, such as weekends. However depending on which room you rent out. It aint good for long-term stay.
