A fun little hostel in a good location. It gets a little warm in in the rooms at night but all round a nice place to stay.

Reveillon at El Misti was crazy, very very fun. I dont care if this is the best hostel of the world or not, but I know that my days in El Misti where the best. The staff allways wants to helps and make your hollidays unforgetable

THe Hostel certainly didnt live up to the reviews on the website. The best hostel in Aouth America - I think not. I had a very cramped dorm, three their bunk beds and no lock on the door, the room was a tip as their was no storage. The was noise all night as the room opened out on to the small bar area. I wouldnt recomend the place

The cleaners work all day every day to keep this place clean! Be aware you have to pay for everything here? towels, lockers, internet... The breakfast is great though.

The room I stayed in had no window, only a fan,so it was a bit damp,I also noticed that they overcharge for the favela tour as others from different hostels was paying 50R for it, I payed 65R at the hostel reception. They should also put the locks on the room doors. But the staff is friendly, nice and helpfull.Despite the hostel not having a left baggage room, they let me leave my backpack there for a couple of days and I was able to keep the security locker as well(seurity locker costs 1Rday)

A hostel which reflects perfectly the Carioca way of life, celebrating life itself, full of "alegria". Sometimes it can get rather crowded though.
