I highly recommend staying at Cleopetra. We had a great time and the staff is great fun! A very good place to meet other travelers and the home made dinners are great! The breakfast was ok as well. Free transport to and from Petra is very convenient. On the downside: They DON'T show Indiana Jones every night..

We were greeted by Mosleh's dry and quirky humour, which continued all trip and included a lovely birthday party and enormous cake for my Mother. Rooms were warm, cozy and good value for money. Highly recommended.

Very good place, near the bus Station, clean and comfortable, good breakfast, packed lunch for Petra and Dinner. Very nice staff with good sense of humor (sometimes he made a joke telling you that your room was already occupied for someone with your same name). I will be back there. Ramon

I can really recommend this hostel in Petra. The staff are great and really nice. You can trust them. Good location also, close to Petra. Free transport to Petra is also provided by the hostel if you dont like to walk. Henrik

The owner plans refurbishment and additional facielities in the not too distant future. The facilitires are in need of it. If you look for fun, a bed and a showertoilet then it is quite ok. Do not expect luxury but a lot of fun is included. I will be back there next year. Hermann

The biggest advantages of this hostel -- the people who manageown it!!! Mosleh and his Uncle are two charming and knowledgeable people who will REALLY REALLY go out of their way to help you and give you ideasinformation about visiting Petra and Little Petra. Their traditional Jordanian dinner is great! Second biggest advantage: its central location in town. The only downside: I really felt it could be in better repair and needed some T.L.C.

Nice hotel with small, but cosy rooms, good breakfast and delicious bedouin dinner (not included). The owner is very friendly and funny guy. Free transport to Petra gate at anytime you want and amazing view of sunrise in Wadi Musa from the roof top.

some maintenance should be done. very small room...but not expensive. very good place to meet other peoples , locals and tourists. The staff is perfect , very very accomodants; they are doing all those little things that are appreciated. You wan't to organise something specific in Jordania , ask for Mosleh ,a peace maker , he can fix everything. Recommanded
