We weren't emailed the code for the front door prior to arrival. The young lady at the reception desk seemed disinterested in giving us advice and also didn't have our booking details on hand and was going to charge us more than the outstanding amount. The room was brilliant, spotlessly clean and very well equipped, comfy bed, very warm and nicely decorated (the lights over our bed didn't work though) One suggestion would be later checkout, 9.30 is very early!

We loved staying at Ante Portas. The staff were very friendly and helpful and with a bus right past the door or a half-hour walk to town, it was very convenient.

Hotel was maintained to a very high standard. The flat had all the basic facilities that one would need over a short holiday. A spacious bathroom and comfortable living area. The staff were friendly and helpful. Also, buses to the city centre came every 10 minutes.

We had a comfortable stay at Ante Portas. Very nice apartment hotel (recently renovated). Big room with large bathroom and kitchenette, TV and closet. Sabine is very helpful if you have questions on what to see and do. The Old Town (Altstadt) and train station are a bit far for walking but easily accessible by bus. Would stay here again the next time we visit Salzburg.

VEry good apartment. Staff is always trying to help as much as possible. Good location, with parking and well equiped kitchen. I would recomend.

Bit far out of town but the no. 4 bus takes you all the way in around 10 minutes.

An excellent place to stay, close to public transport. Owner is lovely and helpful. More of a hotel than hostel, not party central, which is what I loved.
